Lift me up
I found myself in this world again,
gripped with this endless fear
I dived myself into a bundle of tears,
swimming around in uncertainty
holding onto this negativity
blinded me of all you could be
I need you Lord to hear my voice. (I surrender to you )
And as you lift me up into your warm embrace
You pulled me out, out of this muddy disgrace
And as you set my feet upon a rock today
you gave me a firm place to stand today
as as you filled my heart with a new song
I lift my hands to you.( I surrender)
When will I stop with this silliness
and leave you in control of all of this.
Having faith that you are the one,
God the holy three in one.
Never mind about the future ahead
you got it all into your safety net
you fight the fight and you won the war. ( We surrender to you)
